This love this hat for 3 reasons:
- It is green. If you have been to my house, you know that I love all things green. And by green, I don't mean that I have an environmentally friendly house. I mean the color.
- There's a bow! I think I might be too old to wear bows. For example, last Christmas, I wore a black headband with a little black satin bow attached to it. I took it off towards the end of the night and Tyler's dad picked it up and tried to return it to who he thought it's rightful owner was - a five year old girl.
- It is handmade with love by a cute little red head from Istanbul. Neat!
{felted.acorns}
Acorns always remind me of the gigantic oak trees growing in my parents yard. In the fall, acorns would plummet from the trees onto the roof and then create an acorn avalanche onto the back porch. At night time, their collision with the bed of my dad's truck could wake you from your sleep.
I spent a lot of time during my childhood cracking these open to examine their cool, yellow, acorn guts. Or sometimes, my brother and I would get into an Acorn War with our neighbors and pelt each other as hard as we could from across the ditch.
These acorns look so friendly. I think they would look lovely on display in a bowl on a coffee table Or maybe in a hurricane on top of a mantle?
{owl}

If you've read my blog before, then you know I am always on the lookout for a cute bird. This whimsical little ceramic owl would look lovely on a shelf in my house. I would name him Hedwig (after my favorite fictional owl, of course).

You can wear bows! Cortney wears bows. I wear bows and Cam wears bows....ok Cam is bad example because she is one. You cannot stop wearing because of my Dad. I love him, but he doesn't have a clue. :)
So glad that Monday's most wanted is back!
