Monday's Most Wanted

I've decided to start a series called "Monday's Most Wanted."  Every Monday, I am going to talk about a few of my favorite (most wanted) things. They might be things I own, things I wish I owned, things I wish I could buy/share with other people, etc. I'm basically just going to organize my online favorites and bookmarks into bloggy form. I hope you can handle this much Monday fun!

There are not many things in life that are better than Magic Shell ice cream topping. I mean, how the heck does that liquid chocolate goodness do that? It's like eating a Dairy Queen chocolate dipped cone in the convenience of your own home. I'm not even sure how DQ has managed to stay in business (yeah right - I'm pretty sure my love for M&M blizzards this summer has single handedly paid three people's salary at the Savoy Dairy Queen).

I am a total wuss when it comes to taking medication. Maybe it's because of the adverse reaction I had to Augmentin® when I was a weak little flu ridden ten-year-old. I am a true champion when it comes to puking up medication (pardon my crudeness). I hate the way syrup medicine tastes and I don't much care for pills whose diameter are bigger than a pencil eraser. And chewable things are gross and chaulky. I've got news for you Mom, just because something is shaped like Fred Flintstone doesn't mean a little kid wants to eat it with her waffle each morning. Yuck! Now that you know my swallowing issues, you will understand what a brilliant invention chewy vitamins were for me! They are yummy like a fruit snack, but have as much nutritional value as one whole cup of broccoli, one tasty tangerine and three ounces of salmon. Yippee!

Some girls are obsessed with the Twilight Series; I am obsessed with the movie Bright Star. "Your heart will break, your head will swoon, and you will hope against hope for a happy ending that history will not permit" writes Herold Sun writer Leigh Paatsch in his movie review. This movie portrays the love story between 19th century poet, John Keats, and his neighbor, Fanny Brawne. The love story and cinematography and fashion are just beautiful. Ladies, put this one at the top of your Netflix que!

Okay, I am CRAZY about Bright Star. I got giddy again just seeing that picture. It is the most romantic movie in the world, even though it hurts my heart to say it (sorry Pride and Prejudice). If we get to hang out in your living room anytime in the future, lets watch it together.

I just reserved Bright Star on Netflix. Have you seen Possession with Gweneth Paltrow yet?
